Happy Chinese New Year

Yay year of dog.... it's the year when my mom and my sis were born =P Anyway I spent the first few days of the year of dog with my family. Went home on 27 January 2006. Had an upgrade session for myself  plus reunion dinner with my dad's relatives on the next day. On Sunday I went to church in the morning. The preacher was talking about faith and 3 possible reasons why we couldn't have enough faith. First we never know about God's promises to us. Second we are not patient enough to wait upon the Lord. And last, we are more focused in the reality in front of us.

After that? Of course it's time for collecting angpaw.... Lai lai lai... In my family, though we're working already, as long as we're not married, we still received angpaw$$$. So there was I, lining up with my cousins from small to big, old to young, saying "Gong Xi Fa Cai" and collecting the red packet$$$.

On Monday I had lunch with my two closest cousins and my sister. Time is flying so fast. I still remember how we used to talk about school or game or movie. And now we're discussing about work and carrier. And my eldest cousin even has his own family and cute adorable baby girl. Phew.... I wonder where our chilhood have flown away....

Next was meeting my dearest best friend. Wearing pink outfit from top to bottom plus pink handbag and pink shoes made her looks so mature. See.... time is indeed flying so fast. We used to wear sandals and jeans around on school retreat. Now? We are both entering working life. One thing that never change is our addiction in taking pictures of ourselves... Finally.... after 3 years maybe? we had our pictures together again ^.^ yay can put it at my Friendster hahaha...

Yesterday was my first day at Singapore in the year of dog. Found out that my room was quite... ehm... messy, I straight away do the room cleaning and clothes washing. Puih.... I wish I could have free cleaning service!!!

Now I'm in my office.... Most of my friends are still on their holiday -__- And why am I here???? I want holiday again....

Expensive February

Sometimes gue bingung napa sih ga ada saat2 di mana orang2 tuh bener2 happy and lepas dari beban pikiran apapun. Gue punya temen yang baru aja dapet "rejeki" tapi di sisi lain ternyata dia punya beban pikiran lainnya. I mean, I believe for years he has been waiting for that "rejeki". Tapi pas itu dateng masalah laen juga dateng. Semua dari kita pasti pernah ngalamin hal yang sama. Sekarang gue ngerti kenapa orang bilang paling enak jadi anak2 kecil yang cuman mikirin sekolah doank... Kalo dah gede harus mikirin ini, itu, dan anu dan laen laen... Sementara itu begonya pas kecil gue suka mikir enak banget jadi guru kgk usah belajar, tinggal meriksa ulangan kita haha... Sekarang disuruh jadi guru juga kagak mau =P *apaan sih ga jelas bgt... even judul ini entry aja gue kgk tau mao nulis apa... ya tar deh baru dipikir*

Anyway bulan Februari gue dilalui dengan "tidak murah". Gimana murah coba gue dah nonton 2 pelm dalam 1 minggu. Kamis lalu gue nonton Memoirs of Geisha. I love everything about Japan. Masalahnya gue dah baca bukunya... And as expected pasti ada yang beda donk. Tapinya kalo ampe timeline nya agak berubah plus angka2nya *seperti Sayuri's and Mameha's mizuage* ampe beda kan agak aneh ya ga sih... Yah sedikit ga puas aja tapi ok lah gue jd dapet gambaran sesungguhnya tentang kimono, rambut, obi, selop, and culture nya geisha.

Film kedua yang ditonton itu Fearless... Berhubung kemarin ada yang punya M1, jadi kita bisa nonton $8 pas hari Minggu, kita nonton deh film yang katanya film terakhir Jet Lee. Kata cowo2 sih filmnya keren karena berantemnya keren... Buat gue... ya ok lah buat Jet Lee's farewell hee hee ^.^

Hal lain yang bikin bulan Februari jadi "mahal" adalah shopping pas weekend hohoho. Ada kejadian lucu di Takashimaya. Seperti biasa di lantai paling bawah Takashimaya pasti ada discount gede2an and deket air mancur ada banyak orang yang conduct survey. So kita mesti pinter2 jalan cepet buat menghindari orang2 itu. Tapi orang2 itu bakal berjalan lebih cepat buat maksa2 kita isi survey ato daftar asuransi ato sign up credit card ato beli sesuatu....

Me: No no no sorry.... *keep walking*
Unknown: it's about coffee feedback bla3x...
Me: Sorry I don't drink coffee
Unknown: Ha???
Temen belanja gue langsung ketawa gitu sambil bilang "Maybe he thinks... Are u even human???" Bah bodo amat emank kenyataannya gue ga minum kopi koq.... Gue pernah bergaya minum Mocha Freeze dari Coffee Club biar bangun pas lecture.... Hasilnya... dengan iringan suara lecture gue malah bobo krn pusing bgt.

Ya begitulah sekilas tentang awal bulan yang "mahal". Masih ada satu dan lain hal yang bikin bulan ini makin "mahal". But let's just learn from experience ^.^ Semoga bulan ini gue bisa berhemat. Bohahahaha

MooBella, the robotic ice cream dispenser

We love us some ice cream, so a robotic ice cream vending machine that does us up some mix-ins all automatic-like really can't go far wrong in our books. MooBella is showing off just such a contraption at DEMO, which makes every scoop of ice cream "right on the spot" with 12 flavors to choose from and 3 mix-ins to toss in as well. They've got us convinced, and we're pretty sure one of these MooBella yum dispensers will find quite a happy home in the Engadget HQ.

Bagai Dunia Tanpa Lagu

Bukannya gue lagi sok romantis... or lagi ketularan jadi Deloners... tapinya ini lagu stuck di kepala gue coba...

Ceritanya kan gue baru pulang Indo... trus sempet beli VCD Vina Bilang Cinta.... tentu aja nonton ini film sekali ga bikin ini lagu nyangkut di kepala gue hehehe... Thanks to TV rumah gue yang antennanya ngaco berat sehingga Channel5 rusak! Suaranya kresek2 jelek banget.... and anehnya malahan RCTI tiba2 bagus seperti lagi di Indo hahaha... Dan baru2 ini itu film diputer di RCTI! *tau gitu gue kan ga beli VCD nya huhuhu* Tau sendiri donk kalo iklan TV di Indo itu ga bervariasi banget... Bisa diulang2 mulu kalo film A bakal diputer besok dst dst dst... Jadilah iklan Vina Bilang Cinta diputer mulu ampe gue apal ini lagu bagian Reff nya hahaha...

Yah gue bukan kritikus film jadi buat gue filmnya bagus2 aja... biarpun tetep aja ada yg rasanya agak berlebihan... Si Cilia juteknya berlebihan deh... Cuman yg unik itu tiba2 banyak artis2 laen yang muncul cuman sejenak and konteksnya pas hee hee...

BTW tadi pagi pas lagi ngantuk2nya and ga bisa bangun, gue denger suara ayam berkokok!!! Bukan cuman 3 kali tapi berulang2... Huee ternyata tetangga gue pelihara ayam hahaha... Lucu juga ya di Singapore ada ayam... jadi inget si Carrie Bradshaw yang tetangga atasnya juga pelihara ayam hohoho...

Huhuhu hari ini tambah ga enak badan... Kenapa ya... Pengen minta leave euy ama boss.... Boss andaikan engkau mengerti Indo *dinyanyikan dengan Dunia Tanpa Lagunya Delon*

Anyway hari ini ada yang nanya di MSN... Vero pake baju pink donk hari ini... karena emank gue punya kebiasaan pake baju sesuai occassion... Valentine = Pink, CNY = Merah, 17 Agustus = Merah putih, dan tentunya ngikutin colour code kalo pas lg pra-paskah di BB hehehe ungu, ijo, putih etc etc etc

Tapi hari ini??? Pake hitam siapa takut =P

Teori2 ga jelas dari gue

Orang *setidaknya gue* ga boleh "terbang" terlalu tinggi. Lebih tepatnya ga pernah... Kalo gue dah mulai melayang dikit *karena suatu hal* pasti ada hal lain yang bikin gue "inget" buat kembali berpijak ke tanah and liat lebih jelas kalo dalam hidup itu ga selalu bagus doank.

Am I getting wiser after all these things? Well I guess I still need more training ^.^

p.s: Anyway I found new diet method!!! It's called South Beach Diet. No potato and bread for 2 weeks until 1 month. Eat like usual with normal portion. Not difficult right??

American Idol season 5!!! Sebenernya pertama kalinya loh gue ikutin American Idol hihi... Coz gue ga gitu gimana2 banget benernya sama musik. Jadi jaman dulu males deh mesti turun ke lounge buat nongkrongin American Idol. Ato download2 American Idol di compie hehe...

Tapi hidup emank aneh. Sekarang setelah lulus dari NTU dan practically ga ada kerjaan di Rabu dan Kamis malam jadilah gue penongkrong setia American Idol di Channel 5!! ^.^ And terinspirasi si Anes yang demen Katherine McPhee, jadilah gue bikin ini posting. Coz.... itu Lisa Tucker keren bangetzzz

- Unadon and deep impact testify themselves on our relationship
- A strong bond on our sense of shopping, greatest thanks to Mphosis and their 70% discounts *plus Mango, MU, 2cm etc etc*
- Latest gossip? lol.
- A photo lover? lol.

Weakness :
- Store closed at 9.30 (who sleeps that early these days?)
- Bulging tummies that mphosis materials deny to tolerate with.
- Limitations of cash. haha.
