hmmpppffff heran gue selalu menunggu2 datengnya weekend... kayanya banyak banget yang pengen dilakuin tapi begitu sampe sabtu pagi males bgt even buat melek doank....

printer hasil beli di Sitex belon dipasang jg (bbrp hr yg lalu ms ada bonyok jd males ngatur kmr lg... byk brg.... tapi ampe skrg belon disentuh jg)

film2 yg pengen ditonton lewat mulu (malah ga bisa lepas dr ntn kwee ceng coba... bsk dah kelar tuh film)

mau pulang indo dah banyak titipan tapi barang yang mau dibeli sendiri aja kgk dibeli2....

dan ini semua gara2 les cina yang ngabisin waktu!!!!! huuuuu

The Nativity Story

Before watching this movie, I read some reviews about it and almost all the reviews tell me that it's not worth watching. Luckily I asked Dian whether the movie is good or not and decided to watch it when I was already in front of the counter. Of course it turned to be very very nice!!! *or else I won't take time to write it haha* Shame on u people who said it's long, draggy, etc. Come on.... it's the story of first Christmas. This is what it is supposed to be.

I can say this movie will make Christmas this year more meaningful. This is what Christmas is supposed to be. Simple, humble, yet it still touches deepest part of our heart how the Highest King was born at the most humble place. I completely agree with the review from Grace Centered Magazine.

I like how they exposed the good character of Joseph. He might be just a poor carpenter. But he's willing to do God's will and put it as his top priority. His journey with Mary to Betlehem is one of the special scene in this movie. It shows how Joseph really sacrifices for his family.

The other touching part is when Mary let the shepherds, who has nothing but only hope in his heart, to touch Holy Infant Jesus by saying, "He is for all the mankind". And the wise men! You can feel that they were really amazed when they found out that the prophecy was really true. From the shepherds to the wise men. They are those first people who got a sign from God that The Savior was born. Doesn't it mean that He came for everyone? For you and me despite you're "shepherd" or "wise man".

I also enjoyed the part when one of the wise men arguing whether they should go to the journey that would take months or maybe years just to see the newborn King. Well, this interpretation is not in the Bible but it's good to see how this movie really portrays everyone involved in the first Christmas as really human. For us who have heard Christmas story since we are in Sunday School, we might skip the detail or even the feeling of each person here. We never know how hard it is for Mary when people don't trust her and give her cold stare. Or how it will affect Joseph's reputation among his neighbourhood when he still decided to take Mary as his wife. Or how tough it is for pregnant woman to ride on a donkey for a hundred mile journey to Betlehem. Or how it feels when you're about to give birth and no place available. But once again I'm touched with what Mary said when Joseph busy finding place for her to deliver the baby, "God, would you not provide?" Yes at most of the time I forget to ask help from God above. How beautiful it is when our first reaction to everything in this world is a prayer to God. Either asking for help and giving thanks for what He has done.

After all the more we grow in Him, the more we depend on Him. Merry Christmas everyone ^.^ I pray you can feel the greatest grace I have been living in. Oh ya I will be going back to Jakarta from this Friday (22 Dec) to 7 Jan 2007. Take care!

With this entry I want to declare that my O2 mini is still working fine!!!! Sorry to my dearest O2 mini. You have been very hardworking by accompanying me day and night but I've mistaken you due to the error the other day. And the real culprit is my Starhub SIM card!!!! Thanks to my new 6111 so that I could realize this and clear O2 mini's name. So my 2 handphones are O2 mini and Nokia 6111 ^.^ Thanks and Merry Christmas everyone.
