hidup tanpa internet

I have no internet connection since last Friday due to broadband upgrade from 1.5M to 5M. I still remember a Singnet staff told me that it won't be ready by 14th May (when I'm supposed to have the new modem from them) but I can still continue to use 1.5M. So I told them just give me the modem on 26th May (so that I don't have to take leave on 14th).
So they still upgraded my broadband on 12 May. And suddenly I saw this red light on modem. I took them 5 days to fix everything (downgrade to 1.5M again, problem with backend, cable department, etc). And it happened AGAIN on 25 May when they really upgraded it to 5M. The only different thing is this time they refused to downgrade to 1.5M back coz the work of 5M is already in progress. But they don't know when it will be completed. Just told me few days. Same reasons such as backend problem, exchange department, phone line, "everything looks ok... why don't u call this number?" excuses.... good job Singnet... very disappointing...
Sighzzzz how I wish I were that lady from Heroes who has the power to connect to Internet without physical connection -_____-

after 1 week

... with no connection, finally I got my connection back last Saturday. So things got worst on Wednesday when I arrived home and realized that I can't even make a call. I got busy tone all the time. On Thursday it was simply dead. I called Technical Help Desk and as usual it was something like "I'll check your connection first, can I put u on hold for a while?" or "Everything looks ok here but how come you can't connect to internet" or the worst "Ok hmmmm yaaa ok hmmmm ya ok hmmm yaaa" or the silly one "What's your usename? Wah what a nice username"
I think this is really good to test how patient I am and it is clear that patience is the virtue that I don't have. To cut the story short, a technician came on Saturday morning and found the problem. Again it's wiring problem but it is on my side. Singnet moved the connection from the 3rd level riser to 1st level riser or something like that. So actually they need to come and pull a wire from level 3 to level 1. And I'm connected to outside world again ^.^
Luckily I have something to watch during the whole week. It's Heroes! So I stopped watching it since ep 11. I just keep downloading it. I thought the movie has become absurd and illogical. To my surprise it was exciting especially around episode 17-21. Unfortunately the ending was not very good. I feel like everything is packed quickly to end at ep 23. For those who watch, maybe you can help me to understand following things better:
1. if Claire (in the future) doesn't die then how can Sylar still alive? He should have been killed by Hiro right?
2. why doesn't Claire (at present time) just shoot Peter? Peter has the ability to regenerate anyway.
3. Peter can fly by himself right? So Nathan doesn't have to sacrifice himself =P
Nevertheless I should thank Heroes for killing my time hohoho. On Saturday before last Saturday, when I was in youth fellowship, I told those in my care group about my internet. Then one of them said we're too dependent to internet so that when we lost it, we feel like we have nothing to do. Back in Indonesia, we never felt like that, isn't it? I said it's because we can still talk over the phone at our hometown. But why we can't do it here? It's cheaper anyway =P
Well I realized that when I went back to Jakarta, I like to call my old friends and catched up about lots of stuff including the unnecessary ones. But we don't care. We just enjoyed it. In here, it took more effort to get the phone and make a call. Somehow we always feel tired (but we are not tired to go online). Or maybe we just like to spend some time for ourselves. And I feel that even if I want to call, the other end might not be available to talk.
My best experience with chatting on the phone is when I was in NTU 2nd year, I called an old friend and until now I believe she's the most friendly creature I've ever met. We don't talk that much back in high school time but at our first call we're talking just like how friends should talk. No silent moment *to think what to talk next*, no awkward feeling etc etc etc. I thank God for a friend like her. I owe her a lot. With her being so cheerful, she has saved me at those times when everything around me seemed sooo gloomy. Thanks to her I can remember that year as colourful instead of simply black and dark =P
Before I ended my post, since Heroes has reached the end of Volume 1, any reccomendation on what tv series to download?

cheapest meizu in town? maybe =P

When I was at PC Show last Sunday, I saw a small booth at the center selling Meizu. My heart was beating fast (really) and to my relief they're selling Meizu M6 4GB (like mine) for S$215 hohoho. I felt like laughing and telling them that I can get my Meizu at S$199 only. But of course I didn't do that. I want mine to be the cheapest... at least in town hee hee...
What attracts me is they also sold the hard casing for M6. I tried to ask them how much it was. But they kept speaking Chinese though I said I can't understand them (no offense). At last one of them said it was S$25.... Sooo ridiculous.... Anyway I don't need that anymore. When I went to JB on Vesak day I managed to get my Meizu M6 wrapped and it only cost me RM40!!! (in Singapore I need to pay S$38) So cheap... I love JB hohoho

bgmn ini semangat shopping lg tinggi2nya huahahaha kmrn ke vivo sama dian... tujuannya cari baju biru... tp byk bgt yg pgn dibeli.... termasuk tas2 guess yg lg sale itu *indahnya*... and baju yg katanya cuman ada 3 potong di sg *oh my .....* aihhhhh mau semuanya.....
haruskah gue menghindar dari mall biar ga kalap....
however, melihat dian kmrn, g sedikit bersyukur krn g ga gt terobsesi ama brg2 kecil dan imut yang dia sukai itu... huahahaha fiuhhh tarik napas dalam2.... hrs mengencangkan ikat pinggang dalam arti kiasan dan arti sebenarnya =P

yeah gue lg nonton Yoko versi 2006. gara2 kmrn ini ngomongin ini d kantor trus jd pgn nonton deh.... dicari2 dpt jg hohoho... btw ms inget kan si Yoko? yg dulu super ngetop d Indosiar bersama si Bibi *yg ud tua itu* awet muda. Andy Lau nya ampe dateng coba gara2 pelm yg super jadul itu. and mukanya jg sering muncul d tabloid2 macem Bintang etc... keluar d Fantasi jg ga ya haha
setelah dipikir2 ini cerita aneh jg. si Yoko (ato d sini namanya Yang Guo... btw knapa jg d indo pake versi hokkien... kynya versi mandarin lebih bagus... nvm)
pas ditanya ama si Bibi "knapa mau mati buat gue"
jawabnya "krn elu baik ama gue"
trus Bibi blg "kalo ada yg baik lg ama lu gmn"
jwbnya "g baik ama smua yg baik sama gue (sambil nyegir)"
then karena Bibi ceritanya lg luka parah *pdhl pertama kali keluar pake sarung tangan sakti keren gitu* jd dia batuk2 darah gitu deh... then Yang Guo bersumpah ga bakal ada cw lain etc... g jd kasian ama si Yang Guo... untung bibinya cakep d versi 2006... mgkn yg versi Andy Lau plg kasian... abis ud sumpah... kalo melanggar mesti bunuh diri... nasib d bibinya ga cakep *lol*
anyway g jd inget ada classmate g yg blg kalo ampe putus ama pacarnya dia kgk mau married... g ama temen g yg dgr ampe *hah mo jd suster lu????* ok in the end mrk dah ga jadian skrg... nggak tau dah gmn dia skrg... tapi kayanya mesti ati2 jg ama yg begini. apa untungnya coba jd kaya Li Mo Choe yg bawa2 kemoceng kmana2 and blg "Tanyalah dunia apa arti cinta... semua orang mati untuknya..." hahaha *apa coba*
trus pas baru keluar dr kuburan kuno, ceritanya mereka kan kaya baru pacaran gitu... Yang Guo semangat bgt mau turun gunung kalo dah menguasai satu jurus yang lebih mirip nari balet drpd silat =P tapi si Bibi kan ga pernah turun gunung. jd lebih demen tinggal d gunung aja *maklum disuruh sumpah tinggal d kuburan seumur idup*
g jd mikir kalo si Bibi suka d gunung kan mendingan nikah ama yang dr perguruan sebelah... apa itu namanya? Quen Zhen? haha... bertani ampe akhir hayat =P so mending ama yg cocok aja (background sama, sifat sama dll) ato saling mengalah biar keseimbangan alam tercapai?
ok lah garink gini ngebahas Yoko ama Bibi. ternyata emank Guo Cing (Kwee Ceng) lebih bagus kmana2 kekeke....

bukan rahasia kalo orang aneh pasti dipandang aneh... yang ga biasanya, yang ga keliatan beres, yang ga keliatan sesuai dengan pada umumnya... cuplikan lagu di atas itu dr High School Musical =P
jadi inget kmrn ini pas chatting sama temen gue dia blg dia jd lebih extra hati2 kalo bertindak karena takutnya byk org2 se-organisasi yang bakal memandang dia melakukan hal yang aneh... pdhl motivasinya bagus... demi kebaikan bersama jg... gue tanya "emank beneran ada yang negor gitu?". Dia jawab, "bilang sih kgk tapi dr gaya ngmg ato gesturenya kerasa lah haha"
hehehe sounds familiar... been there, experienced that, done that... bbrp minggu lalu di koran dibahas soal gimana kalo berkomunikasi dengan rekan kerja supaya lebih lancar and idenya bisa disampaikan dengan baik... jangan sampe menyinggung ato nyakitin even kalo ada perbedaan pendapat... hohoho...
well sudah saatnya lidah yang kecil harus di"bersih"kan supaya berbuah lebih banyak... gesture jg harus dibenerin coz we don't know when we really "kill" others... mungkin ga keliatan "killing" cuman aja bikin org jadi males ato apalah yang intinya ga membangun....
haduh lg mabok gara2 minum susu kopi meiji >.< jd ngantuk bgt... tp td ada kejadian lucu... masuk ke Suntec and liat ada mobil Mitsubishi kecil yang lucu. Then muncul satu orang nawarin lucky dip. Dah bingung apaan nih? dari booth yang mobil ato Planet Fitness yg majang poster dsana jg... Setelah ambil lucky dip baru sadar itu adalah agen asuransi hahahaha... Untung ketemu temen kuliah dulu yg kebetulan part time di situ... jd instead of duduk and dengerin lama2 gue bisa ngobrol2 n catch up sama dia deh... lucu jg krn banyak hal2 yg tnyt berhubungan satu sama lain...
btw g bukan anti asuransi... cuman dah punya ini itu ngapain beli2 lg... kalo dgn beli2 tiba2 gaji tambah boleh deh hahaha *apa coba* oyasuminasai *.*

Long awaited weekend

Finally!!! Weekend is coming... This weekend is simply different from other weekend. Special =)
After a long bad week finally I got my weekend... hopefully nothing ruins it *keep my finger crossed* so I'm going home in no time ^.^ well not home.. going to spend weekend with IGCF comm. Then I will continue watching Grey's Anatomy on Sunday... Yeah I'm so in love with this tv series lately... Nobody knows where they might end up! Nobody knows... this soundtrack stucks in my head =P
On Monday my shopping partner will come to town and Adel already warned me that her bank account has been jebol hahaha... maybe I should meet her without any money =P
Ok maybe it's not the weekend which is exciting, but the people I'm gonna spend it with. Oh ya next weekend I will also attend the wedding of my very very very good friend. Shall forget my bad days and be ready for this weekend... Lalala
