Dear audience (esp Larissa =P),
After around 1 week delay, here are my pics from my last trip http://picasaweb.google.com/veronica.flo
A little bit here and there about my holiday
Cold
It is definitely cold there! I went with my family and my dad's friend's family. Their family and my sister stay at Australia and they said Australia has never been this cold. We put 4-5 layers of clothes and still feel very cold everytime we get down from the coach.
Food
Most of the time we always eat similar kind of food. A Korean style steamboat with pork meat and vegies. As for the side dishes we usually had kimchi, ikan billis, tofu, and so on and so forth. It's not that they like pork so much. Beef is very expensive there. My dad checked on the supermarket (while the ladies are shopping of course) that 1kg of beef could cost us 100.000 won (around US$100!). And 1kg of rice costs around S$6 (after knowing this fact, we eat more of Korean rice hahaha). And that's because they only want to use their own product. They love their country very much.
Scenery
Personally I feel Japan is more beautiful. Well I could be bias. I always love Japan. The drama, the manga, the anime, the magazine. All are so kawaii!!! Ok stop talking about Japan. While we're at Seoul, we tried to find Korean magazine and hoped we could learn some of the fashion there. But we couldn't find the one as good as Japanese. So we just learned from people on the street XD
Theme park
We went to both Everland and Lotte World theme park. According to current worldwide rank, Everland is at no 4, while Lotte World is at no 5 after Orlando, US Disneyland; Paris Disneyland; and Tokyo Disneyland. But to me, I enjoyed both theme park more than Tokyo Disneyland coz it was raining when I was there!!! Anyway thanks to Marcel who has done enough "research" so that we could try those thrilling ride within limited time. Oh ya we also went to Wild Safari at Everland where we could see wild animal such as lion, tiger, bear from a short distance. And they have one unique animal there, LiGer. It is from Lion + Tiger. Since Lion is the father and Tiger is the mother, they call it LiGer.
Shopping
Korean scenery might not be as good as Japan, nevertheless we spent more money there! They really know how to make us spend a lot of money. They brought us to shop at Ginseng shop, Amethyst, The Face Shop, and other shopping center. Some of the shopping location is along the street (outdoor) and since it was too cold, we couldn't move that fast to shop around. But those places are certainly cheaper than those big and expensive shopping mall. I am glad the tour didn't bring us to see expensive stuff coz it will just waste our time anyway.
Skiing
This is my first time skiing + seeing snow ever. I am really thankful that I could have a chance to do so ^.^
Happy new year everyone!

"The most important thing in life is your family. There are days you love them, and others you don't. But, in the end, they're the people you always come home to. Sometimes it's the family you're born into and sometimes it's the one you make for yourself.”

This is a very funny and romantic drama. See those expressions yourself. It will seem as if you're watching anime. No wonder the actress won the best actress award from this jdorama. ^.^
